Roll, pin and tuck styles are probably the easiest to do, and create beautiful styles with a lot of structure and volume. I find that they work best on stretched or slightly blown out hair, although you could definitely pull them off with textured hair e.g., a twist-out or braid-out.

For this roll, pin & tuck style, I used:

  • flower halo band (Primark) or decorative hair pin
  • bobbie pins (small and large ones)

I’m a little bit obsessed with hair accessories at the moment so. Flowers, pins, Alice bands… all of it! It just adds a little extra fun to a simple hairstyle.

Even if you choose to forgo the accessories (first image below) or use a different type altogether, it still looks great. The plain hairstyle is what I would typically go for if I am going to work or a not so special occasion, that still requires me to look smart and presentable.

If you get to try this out, or your own variation of the style, please do let me know what you think of it and if the video was easy to follow (or not).
