To usher in spring/summer 2018, I’m so excited to be playing with my favourite palette, the 35O2 by Morphe. I’ve had this palette since November of last year, and have been dipping into it from time to time. It really is an ‘all-year round’ palette with amazingly pigmented colours which suit darker skin tones so well. I don’t care what anyone says, I honestly believe this palette was made with dark skintones in mind and I say this because there aren’t too many beige shades in it. Without rambling too much, here is the tutorial for the first look.
This look was inspired by a good friend who happens to be wedding her beaux towards the end of this summer. She’s a very classy, stylish natural beauty, who doesn’t like her makeup to be overwhelming. If I were to describe her in one word, I would call her a sweetheart, and that’s what this look says To me; soft glam, romance and happily ever after.
While having a good palette is important, good quality brushes are equally as important, if not more so. The brushes I used for the tutorial are by Lamora, and are some of the softest brushes I have come across, and the price is unbelievably good! This set (below) cost me all of £9.95, and included a tapered blending brush (small), large blending brush, a crease brush and an all-over shader brush. This is a good starting set if you are looking to get into using eyeshadows, I highly recommend it. It’s available on Amazon.
If you have any suggestions of looks you would like to see from this palette, please do leave a comment and I will definitely do it!
